7 Nights 8 Days Guwahati Arunachal Pradesh Tour

Day 01 – Guwahati – Bhalukpong

Upon your arrival, start your journey towards Bhalukpong, which is the entry hub of Arunachal Pradesh & famous for the archaeological ruins of King Bhaluka who was the grandfather of King Bana of Mahabharata fame. En-route visit Nameri National Park. Upon arrival, check-in to your hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Bhalukpong.

Day 02 – Bhalukpong – Dirang

Post breakfast; proceed to Dirang small hill station in west Kameng district. Its spectacular landscape and beauteous nature will surely please your eyes and comfort your body and soul. We will visit Kalachakra Gompa also referred to as Dirang Monastery and perceive the serene land. Witness Kiwi Orchids, then to Dirang Dzong (fort) which is about 150 years old and have an excellent view of the surrounding. Upon arrival at Dirang, check into the hotel. In the evening you are free to visit the hot water spring, regional sheep farm, Sangti, and Yak Research Center. Overnight stay at Dirang.

Day 03 – Dirang – Tawang

After relishing a wholesome breakfast, proceed for a drive to Tawang and continue to reach the scenic Sela Pass, the only way that connects Tawang district of the state to the rest of the country. Besides its geographical importance Sela Pass is breathtaking place always covered in snow providing some beautiful views of the eastern Himalayan range. En-route visit famous Sela Lake. Upon reaching Tawang, check in to your hotel. Have a pleasant overnight stay at the Hotel / Home stay in Tawang.

Day 04 – Tawang – PTSO Lake – Madhuri Lake – Bum La Pass

Post breakfast, start your day with a breathtaking view of Shonga-tser Lake (Madhuri Lake), surrounded by snow- capped mountains and the valley offer a spectacular view. Next move on to Bum La Pass about 37 kms away from Tawang, it is the indo-china border that lies at 15,200 ft above sea level. On your way back stop by heart lake, PTSO lake, Naghula lake, which will surely make your day. After this return to your hotel for comfortable overnight stay in Tawang. (Mathuri Lake & Bumla Pass tour could be done on additional cost).

Day 05 – Tawang Local Tour

Post breakfast, visit various beautiful sites in the city. Hit the Tawang Monastery (Galden Namgyal Lhatse), Asia’s second largest and India’s largest Buddhist Monastery which was build about 350 years ago in 17th Century. Explore age old artefacts related to Tawang Monastery and Mompa people of Tawang. Get a picturesque view of Tawang township in the heart of sky-piercing mountains. Then we move on to The Tawang War Memorial, a beautiful stupa build in memory of the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives in 1962 Sino-Indian war. Later, we will go on a short trek to Bramdungchung Ani Gompa, which is the abode of nuns and the oldest Ani Gompa in Tawang. Take home local carpet woven by local ladies, Mompa traditional mask as a token of memory from Craft Centre Emporium. In the evening enjoy light and sound show. After this return to your hotel for overnight stay in Tawang.

Day 06 – Tawang – Bomdila

Post breakfast, we will move on to Bomdila. Pay a visit to Bomdila Monastery, which was established in the year of 1965. Explore over 5000 orchid verities including some rarest species of orchid in Tipi Orchidarium. This will be shown to you on the next day. In Bomdila, have a spectacular view from Bomdila View Point, witness impeccable beauty of Bomdila. In the evening enjoy visiting local market. Afterwards retune to your hotel for the overnight stay in Bomdila.

Day 07 – Bomdila – Tezpur

Today after breakfast we will drive to Tezpur, en-route visit the Orchid Center at Tipi. Tipi houses over 7500 orchids. On display are some of the finest species like the Dainty Lady Slipper or the more formal sounding Dendrobium. Continue drive to Tezpur. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. Fresh-n-up and enjoy a sightseeing tour of Tezpur. The place is also known as The City of Blood. It is steeped in mythologies and legends. Situated on the north bank of Brahmaputra, this town of magnificent scenic beauty and exquisite archaeological ruins is the head quarter of Sonitpur District. Overnight stay at Tezpur.

Day 08 – Tezpur – Guwahati ( Airport / Station)

After breakfast, we will leave for Guwahati. Upon arrival, visit Kamakhya Temple if time permits & later we will transfer you to the Airport/Railway station for onward destinations. Tour concludes with everlasting memories of Arunachal Pradesh.

1) Any booking is confirmed by depositing an advance payment @ 50% amount of the total cost of the Package, after that company will process the booking.
2) Balance Payment has to be made in advance before 10 days of the tour date.
3) Payments can be remitted through NEFT/ RTGS/ Net Banking any of the following modes and is subject to realization.

Cancellation Policy:
In the event of cancellation of tour/travel services due to any avoidable/unavoidable reason/s, we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows:

• 45 days prior to arrival: 10% of the Tour/service cost
• 15 days prior to arrival: 25% of the Tour/service cost
• 07 days prior to arrival: 50% of the Tour/service cost
• 72 hours prior to arrival OR No Show: No Refund
